About 10 months ago I was having a conversation with my granddaughter on video Skype. She was 9 months old at the time and we were having an in depth conversation about what she had learned that week. Throwing kisses, Elmo, etc. Then she made a new sound with her mouth and said PA PA !! I think she expected me to laugh because her mother was laughing but I didn't because I didn't think it was funny. That was a sound that Nana makes and if she had said "NANA" I would have laughed uncontrollably and praised and reinforced this new behavior. Unfortunately her mother was praising and reinforcing this behavior enough for 10 people and I am sure because of this, my granddaughter will be repeating this behavior well after I am gone. My question is, when she makes this sound for real when she is 60 years old will she think of me. I hope so, I hope she laughs out loud.
Push the play button and see if you laugh out loud
